2018-2025
Compagnia Sassone
Eleni Ioannidou, the association's director, is passionate about researching the region's Baroque musical heritage, particularly that of Augustus III, the Saxon King of Poland. We have already premiered several operas from the Royal Archives in Dresden, including some from the shared heritage of Wrocław and Bohemia. The young singers were selected for the "Bolko von Hochberg" song competition, and the Polish-German "Lusatian Baroque Ensemble" performs historically informed works.
